You can take the five minute walk to the beach, but there isn’t beach service and the sea is really only for body surfing and that kind of thing.<br />Now the pool area at The Bungalows is very upmarket, with padded sunbeds, a number of cabanas, some even with televisions, which might seem a little over the top, but is excellent for watching sport at the weekends if you need this sort of thing on a vacation. Before you move on however, take another look at the Dominican Republic, there’s a lot more for a family beach vacation than at first meets the eye!<br /></div><p style="text-align: justify;">The temperature throughout the year averages between 28 and 31 degrees – although it can be cooler up in the mountain areas. There is humidity but breezes from the sea help to keep this from being too unbearable. The island’s rainy season usually lasts from May to October, with August and September also being the months that hurricanes are possible. </p><p style="text-align: justify;">There are two “peak” tourist seasons to watch out for on the Dominican Republic, the first is between December and February, and the second between July and August. This means that if you can manage to book your family vacations in Dominican Republic sometime in March/April, you are likely to miss the both the main tourist groups, and the bad weather, and maybe even get yourself a “between season” bargain at the same time! Bungalows Hotel, described as the Dominican Republic all inclusive, so you only pay for something like a lobster on the menu. Quality of food on the menu at the Bungalows is very good if somewhat limited, so you might want to change if you were there for a week or more.<br /><br /><br /><br />The Bungalows have four tennis courts, field hockey and basketball cum oddly enough, and fitness club at the Spa, where you also can find a steam room. You will see the land held perfectly clean, and actually have a very nice vacation here the Dominican Republic, and was not disappointed in any way.</div>
